About Me
I am Ian Atha. I am a computer scientist and linguist.
My mission is to reinstate the original objective of technology: to serve humanity in innovative and efficient ways.
I am currently working for Yahoo! on the Content Optimization Engine.
In the past, I have worked, among others, for Google and the Greek Computer Society under the auspices of the Ministry of Education. During my junior-high and high-school years, I was awarded the first gold medal in the Greek National Olympiad in Informatics three consecutive years for my achievements in competitive algorithmic problem solving.
It is generally believed that I am obscure—ostensibly.
I primarily believe and respect Rationality. I occasionally question social norms and structures that occur outside the realm of Rationality.
